Meet our Director
Jeff Yaeger, Director/Conductor
Mr. Yaeger has been the director since 2008 Mr. Yaeger joined the band in 7th grade and prior to his appointment as director he played tuba and trombone. Mr. Yaeger is a member of the California Music Educators Association, and the Association of Concert Bands.
Mr. Yaeger holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music from California State University, East Bay, as well as a California Teaching Credential (music). When not conducting, Mr. Yaeger plays trombone, tuba, and percussion in various theatre companies, bands, and orchestras around the Bay Area. Mr. Yaeger attended the 2005 Conducting Workshop held at Travis Air Force Base and was given the opportunity to conduct the United States Air Force Band! Mr. Yaeger is the band teacher at Cupertino Middle School.
